Sony has confirmed that pre-orders for Infamous: Second Son in the UK exceed that of The Last of Us.
Sony Computer Entertainment UK product manager Josh Walker confirmed this via an interview with MCV:
We have high expectations for Infamous: Second Son and are excited by the level of pre-orders which are exceeding that of The Last of Us at this point in the run up to its launch
He credited the fact that it’s all thanks to the positive buzz the PS4 has been receiving lately. He expects Infamous: Second Son to be the biggest selling Infamous game to date.
The game launches worldwide on March 21st exclusively on the PS4.
