Mighty No. 9 is Keiji Inafune’s upcoming spiritual successor to the Mega Man series. Through an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, the game was fully funded in excess, which allowed for tons of stretch goals including releases on next-gen consoles and handhelds. Now, some screenshots have been released by the game’s developer Comcept, which show off some very early builds of the game.
The screenshots are very rough of course being this early, but it shows a little more of what we should expect in the eventual full game. These screenshots have a lot of potential and you can definitely see the inspirations from the Mega Man franchise. Check out the gallery of images for yourself below:
