Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has been the somewhat disappointing television series considering the hype behind it before the season started. The show has started to pick up a bit with the return from its winter hiatus on Tuesday night, but soon after a controversy was started based on something from the episode that aired on December 10 titled The Bridge.

Early in this episode, an exterior shot is shown that caught the eyes of some internet sleuths, who found that it was seemingly lifted from some Mass Effect 3 concept art. The concept art was actually sold as a limited edition lithograph on a variety of sites, including the official Bioware site.

It is quite funny that someone would lift something from Mass Effect 3 considering the game had its own controversy over using stock images online, such as for the unmasked Tali photograph. However, those were not copyrighted unlike this Mass Effect art. It is also possible that the Mass Effect design was based off of something else that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. took inspiration from instead, or they could have just gotten permission from the artist.
