This week is definitely not one for the ages with very few new releases, mostly of the digital variety. The only retail release of the week is Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3, rather than Sony’s latest console, on Friday. Tiny Brains, formerly a launch title for the PlayStation 4, makes its way to the PS Store on Tuesday as well as Rainbow Moon for PS Vita. The China Rising DLC for Battlefield 4 also arrives on Tuesday for a number of platforms. Thursday will also see the release of two Sega 3D classics for the Nintendo 3DS with Altered Beast and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Is it just me, or is it a bit weird how little news there is about GT6 this week? For what is probably the PS3’s final stand for SCE, it’s hardly being shouted about, and a launch day embargo is always a strange concept…
I couldn’t agree any more. I honestly had completely forgotten that the game was even coming until I did this article the other day. Very strange indeed.
