With the year coming to an end, Capcom’s lead developers sat down for a large group interview with 4gamer to discuss what the company’s plans are for the coming year. Thankfully, DualShockers has translated the interview for us to check out.

A new Phoenix Wright game was said to be in development according to the director of the most recent Phoenix Wright game, which comes to no one’s surprise. Shu Takumi, who worked on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 1-3, Ghost Trick, and Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, said that his next game will be unveiled in 2014, but didn’t give any hints whether it was a sequel to a past game or a brand new IP.

Kenji Sugiura, producer of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, talked about the company working on reviving a classic Capcom franchise sometime in 2014, but didn’t give any teases as to what the franchise could be.

Lastly, Sugiara stated that Capcom intends to reaffirm its presence in the fighting game genre. Sadly no talk of Mega Man, but that is becoming all too common these days from Capcom.
