Dead Rising 3 has been revealed as 720p and runs at 30 frames per second.
Dead Rising 3 executive producer Josh Bridge revealed the following to IGN:
We are 720p, upscaled to 1080p, and we run at a 30 frames per-second lock. We have to be locked because it’s about the feel of combat. You’ve got to have that predictability of button presses.
This makes sure the game runs smoothly at all times. This is necessary considering there will be tons of zombies on the screen at the same time.
Dead Rising 3 releases November 22nd exclusively on Xbox One.
