Batman Arkham Origins Announced; Coming this October 25th

Warner Bros. confirmed today that a new Batman game in the Arkham series is in fact coming out and is set to release on October 25th for the Wii U, Xbox and of course PS3.

In addition to the console version of the game, there will be a handheld version called Batman Arkham Origins BlackGate for the PlayStation Vita and Nintnedo 3DS.

In Batman Arkham Origins, the game will introduce players to the original prequel storyline that is set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Think of this game as a reboot of the game and will explore the younger / unrefined persona of Batman as he faces a defining moment in his journey to become the dark knight. As always, expect to see important characters in the storyine. As for the handheld version, Batman Arkham Origins BlackGate, it’s a sequel / companion game of the console version where it will give players a chance to know more of the Dark Knight’s past.

Both games are expected to release this October 25th on all platforms.
