This morning, achievements for a game titled Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon appeared online. Given the 400 MSP total of the achievements, Blood Dragon looks to be a standalone downloadable title (much like inFamous: Festival of Blood) based on last year’s exceptional shooter.
Some of the achievements are rather odd, leaving us only more curious as to what is in store for the Far Cry franchise, such as “Just the Tip: Kill a Dragon with the Bow”. The PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 classification ratings leaked this title earlier on, but we still know nothing about it. Oh, and Far Cry 3’s lead writer Jeffrey Yohalem has been quoted saying the following:
I’m working on something now that will be surprising, I think, when it’s announced. But it definitely is a ‘strike while the iron’s hot’ thing, and we’ll see.
Whatever, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is, it definitely has caught our attention. We should learn more during or (hopefully) before E3.
Sounds like an April Fool joke…
