Saints Row 4 could be released as soon as August 2013 on the Xbox 360 and PS3. This is huge news considering most people expected it to be released on next generation consoles instead.
This is according to Chris Stockman who was the design director of the original Saints Row video game. He tweeted the following message: “hey just to let you know word around the campfire is SR4 is shipping on current gen consoles in late August.”
Deep Silver (Saints Row 4’s publisher) has yet to officially announce any details on the game’s release date or platforms it will be on.
Still if this is true, the game will be going head-to-head with Grand Theft Auto V which is due out a few weeks later on September 17th.
Saints Row: Enter the Dominatrix was supposed to be a DLC for Saints Row: The Third. It was however revealed last year the DLC became merged into Saints Row 4 instead.
