Polish magazine CD-Action has revealed the total length of the single player campaign for Assassin’s Creed III, and I believe it’ll please those planning to pick a copy Tuesday. According to a post by ‘1 Khasim 1’ on the Ubisoft forums, CD-Action states that Assassin’s Creed III will take 20 hours to complete, but that’s without taking side missions into consideration. The side missions add another 20 hours, or so it’s claimed, bringing the total time to 40 hours for a completionist playthrough.
The journalist claims that the main quests in AC3 takes around 20 hours, and completing all the side missions and challenges should last another 20 hours
Obviously this isn’t taking into account the time invested into the competitive or cooperative multiplayer modes. It sounds like the game’s $60 price tag may be worth it (something we don’t see often), but you’ll want to check back next week for our review to find out!
