Rebellion has unveiled details regarding the multiplayer portion of their upcoming game, Sniper Elite V2. There are four multiplayer modes and all of them revolve around 2-player cooperative play. Here are the available modes:
Unfortunately, based on the information we have received thus far, competitive multiplayer modes will not be included. However, that shouldn’t be too disappointing given the epic scale of available co-op missions on offer here. Also, those who have or plan on pre-ordering Sniper Elite V2 will be excited to find out that the alternate history “what if” mission involving the assassination of Hitler can be taken on with two players as well.
Sniper Elite V2 will release on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on May 1st.
Cant wait for this game. The first one was really fun and the multiplayer was good to dont know why they didnt just keep in V2. They should reconsider adding competitive multiplayer in the sequel. I think like 2v2 or a wingman type mode like gears would work out.
OMG do your research before spouting crap. There will be competitive multiplayer it just hasnt been announced yet, and the assassinate hitler DLC is single player only. Seriously man, sort it out.

I agree with gaz I have cancelled my pre order, Competitive & private lobby multi player is a must as far as I am concerned in any game of this type, that is were the longevity lies no matter how good the game is.
No way I pay the $$$ for a game without head to head multi-player, our whole clan was looking forward to this game, and all have put it on hold….bad mistake imho.
