Back at E3 this year, EA announced that gamers who will pick up the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 will receive a free copy of Battlefield 1943, similar to what they did with Medal of Honor. With the game now available in stores, players are disappointed to find out that there’s no free game included!
So what now? Unfortunately, to make up with the missed “deal” that PS3 gamers are supposed to get, EA will instead release the DLC planned for PS3 a lot earlier.
“In lieu of 1943 being available on disk for PS3 customers, EA has made all BF3 expansions available early to PS3 customers,” said the company.
Oh well, at least we get it early than the Xbox 360. Check back our review by Friday. Stay tuned.
