Alexandre Amacio, Assassin’s Creed: Revelation’s creative lead, has recently hinted towards the direction Assassin’s Creed will take after the Desmond storyline has finished.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Amacio explained, “Assassin’s Creed is all about cycles – we have the Desmond cycle, which is set to end on December 2012 [Assassin’s Creed III]”. However he the commented that “there’s many cycles within the brand – that’s the whole point. History is our playground.”
So perhaps Assassin’s Creed will live on through another Assassins descendant.
