Sony Computer Entertainment Japan president Hiroshi Kawano has hinted that a release date announcement for the PSVita is to be made at the Tokyo Games Show.
There have been rumors of the release date coming October 28th although nothing official from Sony has been announced.
Kawano however has posted on the PlayStation Vita Community website that a release date for the PSVita is likely to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show.
Here’s what he said:
“Once we’ve set the final release date, we’ll let you know. The announcement will probably come at TGS.”
Sony has announced earlier in the year that the PSVita will have a worldwide launch. Let’s hope that becomes true.
