A review copy of Top Spin 4 finally arrived. Much to my surprise, the game requires a pretty hefty PS3 installation.
Mandatory PS3 installations are nothing new, but I did not expect a sports game like Top Spin 4 to require a huge 4.8GB installation. Top Spin 3 required only around 3.5GB, so this is a big leap.
I understand why a game like Gran Turismo 5 requires a huge install. The game has awesome graphics and 1000 cars. Top Spin 4 only has 25 tennis players and the graphics are less-than-stellar.
Top Spin 4 will be out March 15th in North America and March 18th in Europe. It will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
There better be no load times in this game whatsoever with a install that big.

I’m playing the game right now. Unfortunately there are still loading times. They’re not short ones too I might add…
Next Gen starts when I say so…
a review copy, good news! will you post some impressions later and tell us the gameplay difference between the demo and final release?(more unforced errors?)
