For those who decided not to pick up Bulletstorm but would like to participate in the upcoming beta of Gears of War 3, you might want to head to your local Gamestop.
By pre-ordering Gears of War 3, a beta code will be given out after the $5 down that you make. If you previously pre-ordered it way before this was announced, you can go back to the store and ask for the code. By getting the beta code from Gamestop, you will be given a chance to participate in the public beta. Those who already has access to the beta with their Bulletstorm disc will have a week head start.
The public beta is scheduled to launch this April 25th on the Xbox 360. What are you waiting for? Head over to Gamestop now!
I don’t like the way the beta is turning out. Nothing is going right, it seems. It seems just as clunky and repetitive as Gears Of War 2. Isn’t this supposed to be the new sequel, with tons of new features? Looks like it’s just more of the same. I’ll be keeping my $60 nice, warm and safe in my wallet, thanks very much Epic Games. :)
