GDC 2010: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Trailer

The Dues Ex series represents probably something iconic of video game culture. The first game in the series won serious acclaim and became one of Eidos’s most sucessful games. The second game, in many eyes, did not live up to its expectations; though it did sell over 300,000 copies.

The third game in the series is set to release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC sometime this year. At GDC Eidos released a trailer for this much awaited game.

People, especially those over at Kotaku, have been questioning the renaissance imagery in fear that all the characters will be running around with puffy shirts. But with Square Enix taking care of the CG sequences what could possibly go wrong right? But all worries aside we’re assured the 16th century Baroque style and other references both architechtual and fashion have been done tastefully and in a way that will enrich the game experience.
