Demon’s Souls – 4 Early Survival Tips

Having trouble with Demons Soul? Constantly getting killed and losing your patience? Did you pick up Demons Soul looking for a quick RPG, only to find out that you have just walked into one of the most difficult games of this generation? Well have no fear, Just Push Start has your back! Here are four tips to keep you living long and gaming even longer in Demons Soul.

Make Use of Magic and Projectiles.

Long-range attacks are your best friend in this game. The Soul Arrow is a useful tool, and it’ll help you take down some of the early bosses like the Phalanx, the Tower Knight and the Arachnid. Dual classing is a crucial aspect, so just remember that playing a knight doesn’t mean you don’t have access to magic.

Died? Don’t Worry Too Much.

Dying is a major part of this game, so it will happen often. When you die, you go to Nexus, and must continue fighting with limited stats. This is a game of slow paced gameplay, and at times, trial and error. It’s best not too worry too much when you die and to just continue on your adventure harvesting souls.

Use Souls Wisely.

Souls will make or break you in this game. As you travel you’ll harvest Demon Souls. These souls are used to buy equipment and armor, as well as boost stats and even level up. Make sure to constantly harvest and distribute evenly and moderately.

Find the Bosses Weak Point.

Like all games each boss has their own strength and weakness. Quickly try to find the boss’s weakness and exploit the hell out of it. The best way to find a weakness is to attack with different projectile and magic attacks. Bosses like when you get up close, so it’s best to stay away, attack with your long-range, and find that weakness.
