We now have official confirmation if WWE 2K19 will be released on Nintendo Switch and it sounds like 2K Games is skipping the console this year. This is thanks to WWE 2K18 performing really badly when it came out last year on the Switch.
As reported by PowerUpGaming, 2K Games posted an official statement confirming that the Nintendo Switch will be skipped this year. The statement said: “WWE 2K19 will not be available on Nintendo Switch. 2K is focused on making the best possible experience for WWE 2K fans and will continue evaluating all opportunities to deliver the franchise across additional platforms“.
WWE 2K18 was a laggy mess when it released for the Nintendo Switch last December. The console’s limitations made the game unplayable.
2K19 will only be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One when it comes out on October 9th, 2018. It remains to be seen if any future WWE video games will be released for the Switch ever again!
