Tennis World Tour Out Now In Some Countries; Online Multiplayer And Doubles Coming Later

Tennis World Tour is out now in some countries for PS4 and Xbox One. That said, the game is not really finished yet because the developer still needs to add online multiplayer, a Doubles mode and more.

The official Tennis World Tour Facebook page posted more details about the state of the game now and how it will improve in the months and weeks to come. The biggest thing to note is that online multiplayer is not available right now.

Online multiplayer is expected to be rolled out in two phases. The first phase will add online quick matches while a second phase will then add a ranked online mode with global leader boards. The developer apologizes for making you wait for online multiplayer, but more details are to be revealed in the coming days.

Many players that own the game already may have noticed that some modes are still missing. Well they are coming in the next few days via updates. You can see a list of modes and features coming soon below.

  • Doubles mode
  • A weekly challenge mode
  • Sliding animations on clay courts
  • Improvements to audio
  • Additional outfits and accessories
  • And of course, general improvements based on your feedback

We don’t have a copy of Tennis World Tour ourselves yet, but we’ll be sure to write a review of the game in the near future once all of the updates are installed.
