It’s been several years since we have seen a new game from the popular BioShock franchise, although a new game from the franchise might be coming out very soon. This is because a 2K studio of some kind is currently working on the game as we speak.
This new report comes courtesy of Jason Schrier from Kotaku. He posted the following on his Twitter account: “Among other details I learned while reporting this story: Right next to Hangar 13, a top-secret 2K studio is now working on a top-secret new BioShock game”
No other additional information has been posted about the game this far. It’s only been mentioned that some developers from Hanger 13 have joined a new studio and they are working in a new project code-named ‘Parkside’. This new project is believed to be the next BioShock video game.
BioShock Infinite was the last game in the franchise and it came out back in 2013 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. We have yet to see a new game in the franchise hit the newer PS4 and Xbox One consoles thus far. Maybe this new game is one that fans have been waiting for. Hopefully more official news on the game will be revealed at E3 2018!
