UK Charts: Sea of Thieves Beats A Way Out For The Top Spot

It’s near the end of March and more video games are being released for 2018. Microsoft’s PC and Xbox One exclusive Sea of Thieves came out on top beating out the co-op game made by EA called A Way Out.

As reported by Eurogamer, Sea of Thieves was the best selling game of the week at UK retail stores. This is quite impressive since the game is only available on Xbox One and PC.

Not to mention sales will be higher if digital sales were counted. The player count was even higher for Rare’s game since many people played it on day one via Microsoft’s very nifty Xbox Games Pass subscription service.

A Way Out had to settle for the runner up position. The game was reviewed nicely by game critics as it is a decent and fun co-op game. Third on the list this week was the JRPG Ni No Kuni 2 while fourth place belonged to Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered.

In terms of other new releases, Attack on Titan 2 placed at number 17 while 3DS exclusive Detective Pikachu was placed number 23.
