Final Fantasy XV On Steam Can Allow You To Dress Up Noctis As Half Life’s Gordon

Half Life 3 is unlikely going to be released in our lifetime, but that does not mean gamers forget about the popular FPS franchise. While everyone waits for a third game in the series, the next best thing you can do is pretend you are playing a new Half Life game while playing Final Fantasy XV on Steam.

Square Enix announced that from now until May 1st, gamers can pre-order Final Fantasy XV on Steam and they will receive a pretty cool Half Life DLC pack that includes an in-game costume for Noctis to dress up as Gordon Freeman.

Available in both the single player and multiplayer modes of the game, you get access to wear Gordon Freeman’s iconic HEV Suit, Scientist Glasses as well as his crowbar too.

Aside from the Half-Life crossover, another DLC pack called the “FFXV Fashion Collection” is also available. It includes the following four t-shirts for you to wear: “The strength-enhancing Episode Galdiolus Tee, The HP recovery rate-increasing Episode Promopto Tee, The critical hit rate-increasing Episode Iginis Tee and the The maximum HP-increasing Comrades Tee“.

If you choose to pre-order Final Fantasy XV via Origin and the Microsoft Store you get access to different stuff that the above Steam players get. On Origin, you get the “FFXV Decal Selection” that feature pictures of the main characters on the Regalia car.

Lastly, FFXV buyers on the Microsoft Store get the FFXV Powerup Pack. The pack includes the “Dodanuki, a sleek sword created by a legendary bladesmith that reduces enemy defense with each slash and also includes 10 phoenix downs and 10 elixirs“.

Before the game comes out, you can play the demo on February 26th which includes the Chapter 1 of the game that features the tutorials as well as the opening quests.
