Bandai Namco Delay Get Even Out Of Respect After Manchester Terrorist Attack

Bandai Namco were set to launch Get Even later this week however the company has decided to postpone the release after the recent events in Manchester, England.

Get Even is a first person thriller where players take up the role of Cole Black. In the opening scenes of the game players stumble across a girl tide to a chair with a bomb vest on. Due to the potential similarities between this scene and the recent tragic event in Manchester, where 22 people including children lost their lives at a music concept, the team has made the respectful decision to delay the games release. In a public statement released by Bandai Namco the publisher said:

“Given recent events and out of respect we have decided to postpone the commercial release of Get Even to June 23rd. We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone concerned”.

To second the final point of the statement our thoughts, from all of us at Just Push Start, are very much with the families affected by the events of Manchester.
