Niantic has released some mind-blowing statistics that have been created by Pokemon Go players. It’s quite amazing the type of numbers that have been created.
Niantic announced on YouTube that collectively, Pokemon Go players have walked more than 8.7 billion kilometers since the game came out in July. This number could be higher as numbers stopped being tallied on December 7th.
To put this into perspective, this is the equivalent of walking around the Earth 200,000 times. It would also take a jetliner 1000 years to make this distance.
Another amazing statistic is that 88 billion Pokemon have been caught. This is an average of 533 million Pokemon caught each and every day. Have you been playing Pokemon Go like crazy at launch?
