Nintendo eShop update: Wave Race 64 and Mario Sports Mix hit Wii U eShop

The Nintendo eShop has been updated for the week of Aug. 11, and this week we have been treated to a nice helping of Virtual Console releases for New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U. To go along with a strong lineup for Virtual Console releases, the Wii U eShop has also been given a dash of original software this week – though the highlight of the week would have to be Tadpole Treble, which you can find gameplay footage of here.

The Virtual Console is the clear winner of the week on both the Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS as the release lineup is splendid. On Wii U, fans can download classic Nintendo 64 title – Wave Race 64 and relive the glory days of aquatic racing. On the New Nintendo 3DS, owners get to experience one of the best SNES and Mega Man titles as Mega Man X is now available for download. For just $7.99, Mega Man fans shouldn’t miss out on this release.
