Warning! Challenger Approaching! Ever since the announcement that, at the time, Namco-Bandai would be helping to create the game with Masahiro Sakurai, most figured that one character that had to be added was Pac-Man. Even as a third party character, the addition just made sense and that dream came to fruition during E3.
Nintendo officially unveiled that Pac-Man is joining the fray against other classic characters like Mario, Sonic, and Mega Man. Who would have ever thought we’d get all of these same characters in the same game? However, this technically isn’t Pac-Man’s first appearance in a big Nintendo game, as he also appeared in the line of Mario Kart arcade racers, which happened to be developed by Namco.
