Mario Kart 8 is almost here finally, with one of its biggest new features being the uniquely designed stages where you can race on walls. This will definitely turn races upside down, literally, and we got a lot more details about this anti-gravity racing in the new Mario Kart 8 themed Nintendo Direct.
In this nearly five minute portion of the Direct, we get explanations by both the narrator, as well as Mario Kart 8 director Hideki Konno. Konno explained how they looked at the features added in the past, like underwater racing, and tried to find something new to improve the series in Mario Kart 8.
