Recent updates for GTA V and GTA Online had a large amount of new activities as well as weapons and more. However the next update is expected to include heists, as well as tournaments and mansions.
On March 4, the latest 1.11 title update for GTA Online already had the necessary files included for online heists, as well the ability to purchase more than one apartment and potentially a mansion. The new text files that were added after the recent update included this line:
“At the printer, press ~INPUT_CONTEXT~ to collect the heist details. Press ~INPUT_CONTEXT~ to collect the heist details. Start Heist”
This file demonstrates that to partake in a heist, players must first go to the printer in their apartment’s planning room in order to receive the mission details and initiate the heist. The text files were created specifically for the heists missions but have not yet been activated by Rockstar, which means that in the current title update of GTA Online, the heists are not yet available. From a recent post on the social sharing site, Reddit, it has been suggested that players will be able to own more than one apartment; in the next update players will be able to set their GPS to more than one apartment. GTA Online has its competitive elements but no real goals or rewards as such. In the next update, there is going to be the reveal of a tournaments mode. The tournaments mode will allow players to compete against other players for prizes, though they must first qualify by beating a score or time limit.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m tired of all these pointless updates they have been promising heists for months I’m tired of waiting
