For any of you who have played a Super Smash Bros. game in the past, you likely know how the general combat works. When using your basic attack move, you can constantly do so until the opponent moves, especially when up against a wall. However, it appears that is changing, according to the latest update from Masahiro Sakurai.
Pic of the day. Now consecutive standard attacks will always transition into a finishing move. This is Fox’s finishing kick after his standard combo attack.
This is excellent news for competitive play as it will prevent spamming of the same attack when trapping someone against the wall. We will have to wait and see what kind of finishing moves all of the other characters will have now.
