After only recently forming Gone North Games has reveal a sneak peak of their upcoming Steam game A Story About My Uncle.
The premise of the title is that a boy is searching for his lost uncle in an unusual world. A Story About My Uncle is described by the developers as a “non-violent First-Person platform adventure game built in the Unreal Engine”. Starting life as a university project the game is slated for release this summer! Interestingly the game will be published by the recently internet famous Goat Simulator team.
Talking about publishing the game Coffee Stain Studios, developers of the Sanctum series & Goat Simulator had this to say:
“We’re really excited to bring this game to Steam! At first we were sceptic to publish games we haven’t made ourselves, but once we tried out A Story About My Uncle, we were hooked! They really nailed the sense of speed, freedom and adventure in the game, and we can’t wait to bring this story-based, non-violent indie game to Steam.”
