Call Of Duty Championship Puts Up $1 Million In Prizes

First time on Xbox One

Call of Duty Championship

The Call of Duty Championship event was first started last year as a way for professional gamers to face off against one another at Call of Duty. Activision has now announced that the second annual Call of Duty Championship will be held from March 28 to March 30 and will feature one million dollars in prizes.

This event will be the first professional Call of Duty event to be played on the Xbox One. The qualifying rounds will actually be played on Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, but the regional finals and beyond will move to the Xbox One. The matches themselves will be streamed live on both MLG.TV and on Xbox Live.

If you want to sign up or just read the rules, you can do so at the MLG website here, rather you are a professional gamer or not. Also check out the trailer for the event below.
