Update: Phil Spencer corrected his statement and announced the Xbox One is actually 8 more times powerful than the Xbox 360.
Microsoft’s Phil Spencer was a special guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He showed off the new Xbox One to Fallon and more.
Spencer confirmed that the Xbox One will be released in November 2013. This release window has been speculated for a few days now, but it’s good to see this being confirmed from Microsoft itself.
He also said that it was not possible for Forza Motorsport 5 to be released on the Xbox 360 because the “Xbox One is three times the power of what the Xbox 360 was“. This means it has better sound, graphics and physics than previous Forza games.
