The team behind the classic title Ecco the Dolphin has just launched a brand new Kickstarter for their new game, The Big Blue.
The Big Blue is not a sequel to Ecco the Dolphin but instead “is a whole new universe.” The team hopes that the game will be “bigger and more contemporary than the classic game”. The project has just started its Kickstarter journey with the aim to hit the pledge goal of $665,000. The game itself is an underwater adventure game set to be released on April 22nd, 2014 which will run on Mac, Windows, Linux, and iOS and Android platforms; of course only is it is funded.
If The Big Blue reaches this pledge goal target within the 33 day timescale the game will be funded, if it falls short none of the money pledged is taken from the backers.
