Despite the whole DRM drama around EA’s SimCity on the PC, the game still managed to sell over over a million copies ever since it launched two weeks ago.
According to EA, the launch of SimCity is the biggest one they had for the franchise where 54% of the players chose to download the game digitally despite the issues the game is having with DRM. By now, those who want to get into SimCity should be able to play the game without any hitches, as EA made some changes to make the experience better, like adding more servers and offering free copy of games like Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3 to those who are affected with the launch issues.
