After being announced earlier this year as Project Versus J, it seems the game is now known as J-Stars Victory VS. While the name is very “Japanese”, it seems to suit the game better and confirms that this will indeed be a Shonen Jump cross over fighter. Besides announcing the new name for the game, the scan also confirms Naruto as playable, which has been rumored for a while after he appeared in the background of some scans.
Currently J-Stars Victory VS is set to release later this year on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platform. So far we haven’t gotten word on a US or EU version, but with Project X Zone and other such games crossing over, I wouldn’t say it’s as unlikely as it would have been 5 years ago.
