Hitman: Absolution getting a patch sometime next week

If you are among of those people that are experiencing some random crashing when playing Hitman: Absolution on consoles, there’s a patch that’s coming next week.

According to Phil Elliott, Square Enix Europe Head of Community & Social Media, the team is hard at work to release a patch that will be out next week. No exact release date was released as it needs to go through internal testing and of course submission to Sony and Microsoft. Depending on how fast this gets done, fans can expect the patch to be out next week.

Here’s what he has to say on what will be fixed:

“In terms of what this fixes, we’ve pinpointed a number of things which were causing the random game crashes – which, in turn, were causing saved games to corrupt”
