Sony has announced on its PlayStation Blog that its popular SingStar game is to become a free app on the PS3 for PAL gamers.
It will be a free download on the XMB for SCE Europe territories, Australia and New Zealand. You can simply install the app from the XMB and start singing.
SingStar App includes:

-Compatible with SingStar microphones, official PlayStation Wireless headsets and common USB microphones
-Short demo songs available for download for new SingStore customers
-Easy access PS2 and PS3 disc swap from song carousel

-Instantly share your performances with the SingStar community and your friends on Facebook
-Acquire new trophies
