In the past few years mobile gaming has really taken off, which has lead to the rise of some games like Angry Birds. Since it’s release roughly 3 years ago, the market is now filled with T shirts, Boardgames, Plushies and much more of the various characters. While you can already describe the market as oversatured, it seems the first three games Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio are heading to consoles.
Beyond simply heading to the consoles, there will also be a few updates included. These include updated cinematic, Move / Kinect support, Street pass functionality, higher resolution for HD TVs and other unnamed bonuses. However Angry Birds Trilogy is set to release on October 16th and is priced at $39.99 for the PS3/Xbox version or only $29.99 on the 3DS. This seems rather high as the collection would only cost $9 dollars for the HD versions or a mere $3 for the SD version on the App store. Ideally the increase will make more sense as we get closer to the release.
