E3 2012: Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 Does Not Have a Lead Platform

Remember how Lords of Shadow’s lead platform was the PlayStation 3? It seems the sequel that is currently in development does not have a lead platform, as revealed by producer David Cox. He was sure to make it known that the game was being developed simultaneously on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

For those of you who are worried about which version to get, you can take some comfort in the fact that the game is said to be identical regardless of console. However, we’ve heard these claims many times before. I believe the only major difference between the console versions of Lords of Shadow 2 is that the 360 will come on two discs, whereas the PS3 will have one. This is purely speculation on our part, but given the first game’s need for two discs on 360, I can only imagine that this more ambitious title will need at least two discs as well on Microsoft’s system.
