Square Enix has revealed in a press release this morning a few things related to Sleeping Dogs. Sleeping Dogs is actually what used to be True Crime: Hong Kong for those who were awaiting that title, and were disappointed to see vanish into thin air.
To start off, they have announced that Sleeping Dogs will release on August 14th. Next off, they have also given a list of pre-order incentives for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The list is as follows:
Amazon: ‘Martial Arts’ Pack:
· Shaolin Showdown Mission
· Shaolin Warrior outfit (with increased striking damage)
· Bonus Triad XP points
· Wing Chun decoration for safehouse (with temporary combat buff)
Best Buy: ‘Georges St. Pierre (GSP)’ Pack:
· GSP’s signature “flying punch”
· Exclusive GSP outfit including T-shirts, headband and shorts
· GSP’s outfit unlocks the “flying punch” and increases grappling and throwing damage
GameStop: ‘Police Protection’ Pack:
· Exclusive “High Speed” Mission
· Exclusive HK Police SWAT Outfit
· Exclusive assault rifle
· Exclusive SWAT Police Vehicle
Square Enix has reassured fans that the PC version of the game will have exclusive content. They have said that the content will be revealed at a later date. Although you may feel conflicted while trying to decide where to pre-order, everything will likely be made available at a later date on the Playstation Store/XBL Marketplace.
