It’s a sad day for anyone that thinks online partitions are a joke, because Dark Souls is heading PC side. It was officially announced today during Namco Bandais press event. This is certainly a surprise, but you have the online support to thank.
As you might have assumed, Namco Bandai had no intention of bringing the game to the PC, till there was strong demand for it. In addition to PC gamers getting the chance to experience Dark Souls, there will also be new content, though it wasn’t detailed. Currently it’s set to release on August 24th, so it will be a long wait, but in the mean time check out the announcement trailer.
