Surprisingly, Scimitar is pretty easy to kill. Most of his levels are commonly seen on covert missions, so you should know some tricks to getting to him. This guide will show you how to easily dispatch him, but like all HVT’s, make sure to take it seriously.
I strongly suggest using a very accurate gun, as the HVT is easily sniped. This will also help you in all the turns and twists throughout the level.
At the start of the mission, find a safe spot and open fire. These enemies are very annoying, because they tend to toss grenades at you. Getting hit will kill you, so avoid them at all cost. Just quickly pick off your enemies, so you don’t risk death.
After the restaurant, keep going till you get here. You will see a mine which you need to disarm. Take care of it and head inside.
Once you get past the mine, pick off this guy. I believe hes a sniper, but he might be a RPG guy. In any case, hes a serious threat that needs to go. After you kill him, head to the left door.
Your enemies will be alerted, so you need to work fast. If you kill him quickly, then you can rush to the next area. Just be warned that you might need to clear some enemies to rush onward.
The second you get to the next area, you will see another RPG/Sniper guy and another in front of him. Kill them as quickly as possible. The enemies should be in the same spots they died here, so keep this in mind. You also might have a few enemies rush you from the previous area. If this happens, camp somewhere and pick them off.
A little further on you will encounter another RPG guy. Kill him and keep moving.
Shortly after the RPG guy, you will see some enemies on some stairs. Kill them both quickly, then keep following the way point.
Keep moving till you reach this doorway. Once you’re here, simply disarm the mine to progress.
After disarming the mine, find a safe spot to hide. Shoot a few bullets randomly so enemies will rush you. Take care of them before they can cause a problem for you.
Before exiting this area, you will find yet another mine. Disarm it and get ready to fight the HVT.
Inside you will find yet more RPG/Sniper enemies. You got to take care of them quickly or things will go to **** quickly!
After those enemies are dead, just open fire randomly. This will force the HVT, but you need to kill him quickly. Once hes dead, you can escape under all the remaining enemies to the exit. If you’re having problems with this method, you might be better off advancing on the HVT. As long as you’re aware there’s snipers by him, you should be moderately safe.
