Project CARS Release Date Pushed Back To March 2013

Slightly Mad Studios has recently revealed that Project CARS will no longer be released in 2012.

On the company’s Facebook page they announced that the game will now be out in March 2013. Alongside this bad news however comes a brand new video full of alpha footage. The footage shows off the Ariel Atom 3000 on full graphical settings. Let us know what you think of the game below.

  1. Graphics looking good, handling looked great, but the sound jesus the sounds. I hope the sound effects get some attention before the release date.

  2. Watch other videos on youtube! This car has a tiny engine so the sound will not be loud, also they designed helmet sounds, with different helmet designs, that block out sound! And if you watch videos of the Ariel Atom 3 online, you will see how quiet it is. The real car cameras are sensitive to turbo sound, so don’t think you will hear the turbo that loud in real life. It is not perfect, but one of the most perfect sounds in car gaming! And if you check other gaming vids of this game, you will see that all cars have a unique sound, and depending on the real sound, the sound in the game is sometime louder, or lower! The only complaint that I have about this game is that the car textures and details are not really good. They spent a lot of time with the effects, which is good, and the driver textures, but not much with the cars. :( 2 years ago it was amazing, now it is mediocre textures and texture details. My hope is that it will be better with the officially released game!
