Tozai games isn’t taking a break when it comes to getting Spelunker going again. After obtaining the rights from Irem and Sony pulling Minna de Spelunker/Spelunker Black; Tozai games is replacing those with an updated title. This version will start by costing far less than the original Japanese version at 1,200 yen. Additionally they seemed to have added a new mode known as “Championship mode”.
This mode will offer gamers an increased challenged by adding 10 extremely difficult stages. Each one will give you 50 lifes to try and complete these super zones. Additionally there will be some DLC stages, but price is currently unknown. While it’s not the greatest addition, it does seem to add something worthwhile to true fans of the series.
If this is up your ally the wait isn’t too bad. Tozai games is currently hoping to get the game out this winter, but this only refers to the Japanese version.
