No Slam Dunk Contest In NBA 2K12
Although I already reported this on my review of NBA 2K12, I just thought it maybe a good idea to confirm this for gamers who have yet to play NBA 2K12.
NBA 2K12 is a great game. The core gameplay is as realistic as it gets. However, some gamers on forums have expressed the fact that NBA 2K12 is missing the entire Slam Dunk contest!
The Slam Dunk contest is arguably one of the greatest attractions of the entire sport. Despite the NBA Lockout that is currently happening, the NBA has staged the event annually since 1984 during the NBA All Star Weekend.
Anyway, it’s sad to see the event missing in NBA 2K12. There’s no alternative for fans this year either since there won’t be another EA developed NBA games in 2011. 2K Sports decided to get rid of the feature to focus on its core gameplay. Don’t bother thinking that it’s an unlockable because it’s not in there I’m afraid…
