Guillaume Couturier the Contributing Editor at SCEF has recently hinted that Gran Turismo 5 will soon be receiving DLC.
When asked about Gran Turismo 5’s DLC plans on the French PS Blog, Couturier replied that “Polyphony began with the new update, It could be that the DLC follow”. While it isn’t a confirmation it’s the closest to an announcement we have had.

Just upgrades from standard cars to premium. Some additional tracks from the last games would be cool too.
