E3 2011: New Silent Hill HD Details

Since the announcement Konami did on the Silent Hill HD collection just a couple of weeks ago, little information was revealed until today’s press interview behind closed doors.

For those who are wondering as to what platform Silent Hill HD is going to be on, the developer is still disclosing the details as they’re still on the process of remaking it from the ground up. However, the new information that they shared to us today is that the HD remake will be receiving a new cast of voice actors.

Yes! If you fell in love to the voice overs of James Sutherland in Silent Hill 2 and Heather in Silent Hill 3, you might not be to hear them again in this new remake.

Laaaaaaame. It’ll be like playing Infamous 2, with Cole’s voice not being the same. It just doesn’t FEEL right.

Not that i won’t buy the remakes. But this still seems like a stupid idea. None of the other HD upgrades out there have done this, why now?
