Valve has announced that Portal 2 has now gotten a new release date which will still be early next year.
The exact date for Portal 2’s release is April 21, 2011. It will be released via Steam and in retail stores simultaneously and will be available for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3.
VP of Marketing at Valve, Doug Lombardi comments:
“Portal 2 is Valve’s most innovative title in the company’s history and will be launched with a first-class launch campaign this April, We’re excited to be working with Electronic Arts to deliver this title as we expand our platform strategy to include the Mac and PlayStation 3 platforms.”
Portal 2 promises to bring new gameplay features such as the co-op campaign as well as new puzzles and more.
