iPad 3.2.1, iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G on iOS 4/4.0.1 Jailbreak Now Available

For anyone who who has an iPhone, and an iPad that are stuck on the latest firmware update that Apple released a couple of weeks ago, the wait is now over as a new Jailbreak tool is here!

Created by Comex, anyone who has an iPad on 3.2.1 firmware and 4/4.0.1 firmware on the iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G phone, can now jailbreak their device in just a slide on the phone. By going to jailbreakme.com on the iPhone and iPad’s Safari Browser, the jailbreaking can be done in just minutes.

Please take note that there are risk of bricking your device. Use the tool with caution. There are reports that due to the high volume that Comex is getting right now, expect some errors and crashes. I highly suggest to use it when the stampede is over.

We’re still trying it out if it’s working. Since we’re afraid of bricking our devices, we will try it in just a couple of hours.

Here are the known issues so far (will update when available):

fail on iPad 3.2.1
losing MMS on some iPhone phones
*successfully Jailbroken my iPad 16GB Wifi at 3.2.1
* successfully Jailbroken my iPhone 3G 4.0.1

  1. Installed on iPad 3.2.1. I had to re-boot to see Cydia.
    Installed on iPhone 4 4.0.1. I do not have MMS now.

  2. Worked great!! Smooth and easy to install….I have a iPhone 3gs running 4.0.1!! Thanks Comex and others for the jailbreak! I also unlocked with ultrasn)w!! Very cool!!!

  4. I have the iPad 32g, 3G, and the jailbreak does not work for me, when I slide the slider, the device reboots without going through the jailbreak process.

  5. I have iPad 32g, 3G, tried the jailbreakme several times, when I slide the slider, the iPad just reboots, does not go through the jailbreak process

  6. I have a 64GB 3G iPad running 3.2.1. I was able to get half way through the jailbreak bar (under the Apple logo on reboot) and it crashed. Don’t know if this loading ‘bar’ is for the actual jailbreaking, but I was able to only see it once. Failed otherwise.

  7. Oh, and after reboot, my app icons separated from each other (default and paid). Any known comments on 3G iPad models?

  8. No it doesn’t successfully jailbreak it, it instantly reboots before it can do anything.
